Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for Operations to join our North America Operations Finance team. In this role, you will provide crucial financial support, streamline reporting, drive budgeting and forecasting processes, and assist with period-end close/accounting and controls. You'll also analyze manufacturing activities to enhance plant efficiency and performance, working closely with various departments. You will report directly to the Regional Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis and reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly plant performance and cost drivers such as labor costs.
• Assist in preparing month-end closing entries and ensure timely account reconciliations.
• Collaborate with inventory control coordinators to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, providing technical support as needed.
• Analyze waste and identify key drivers, advocating for process improvements that enhance reporting and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of forecasting processes for North America manufacturing consolidation, reporting, and analysis.
• Monitor financial forecast accuracy and variance, identifying root causes and recommending solutions for improvements.
• Support the Controller during the annual budget process for manufacturing plants, including plant-level budgeting and analysis of changes.
• Work with Operations to optimize processes related to purchase orders, spare parts, P-card compliance, and invoice resolutions.
• Provide ad hoc reporting, process optimization, and development support as required.
• Create and maintain financial standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation.
• Assist Operations and Engineering partners with monthly capital activity reporting, capital budgeting, and cash flow forecasting.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• Minimum of two years of financial business experience is required.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in forecasting and data analysis.
• Proficiency in data mining and developing analytical models, tools, and reports.

Desired Skills:

• Advanced Excel skills are essential; proficiency in PowerPoint and Word is also expected.
• SAP/BI experience is preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, along with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• A proven track record of continuous improvement in previous positions.
• Self-motivated with high accountability and a strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent multitasking abilities, able to work in a structured manner under tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey results, document processes, and articulate ideas.
• A results-driven mindset with a sense of urgency, capable of performing under deadline pressures.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities.
