Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic leader with exceptional planning and facilitation skills to work directly with clients, manage company and project resources, and successfully complete projects. The ideal candidate is a strategic business thinker who can create, apply, and implement methodologies, standardization, and processes across practice areas. They should also be adept at creating client connections to generate project leads and develop business opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively solve issues before clients are aware of them.
  • Participate actively in decision-making with clients and client executives.
  • Align the team culturally with MPS mission, vision, and values.
  • Demonstrate polished proposal writing, scoping, pricing, and project execution skills.
  • Manage staffing of client managers effectively.
  • Identify and lead process improvements to streamline internal project delivery and champion internal change management and team coaching.
  • Lead clients and teams to consensus as a visionary thinker.
  • Take the lead on various aspects of project delivery as needed.
  • Participate in thought leadership activities such as blogs, podcasts, conferences, and white papers.
  • Build collaborative and productive relationships with junior advisors and clients.
  • Support the development of new product/service lines.
  • Champion the use of tools and analytics.
  • Lead and coordinate project pursuits and engage heavily in business development.
  • Develop and lead client and internal workshops with subject matter expertise.
  • Perform in various roles throughout the full project lifecycle with both specialist and functional knowledge.
  • Provide clerical support as needed across the company.
  • Mentor team members and practice area members.
  • Contribute to and lead product development efforts.
  • Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, or related field.
    • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in planning healthcare projects.
    • Ideally accredited by the American College of Healthcare Architects.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and related tools.
    • Strong technical and critical thinking skills, with thorough understanding of codes, standards, and compliance.
    • Additional certifications such as LEAN, EDAC, WELL AP, LEED AP, etc., are preferred.
    • Proficiency in computational design, Power BI, and Adobe Suite is preferred.
    Physical Demands & Work Environment

    The physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, balancing, kneeling, crouching, speaking, listening, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

    The work environment is typically moderate in noise level, with no exposure to hazardous conditions expected.
