Senior Executive Assistant to CEO, Encore Capital Group
The Senior Executive Assistant to CEO of Encore Capital Group provides multi-faceted administration support on complex matters to the CEO. Encore is a NASDAQ listed company, headquartered in San Diego with over $1.2 billion in revenues.
This role interfaces and communicates with executive leadership for Encore Capital Group as well as the Board of Directors on items of a sensitive and confidential nature. Prepares presentation materials for Board of Directors meetings as well as manages logistics as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIESBoard support:
- Provides multi-faceted admin support on complex matters and provides assistance to ensure effective use of the CEO's time as well as creating productive interactions with the senior leadership teams, the public and the board.
- Collects and prepares information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individual.
- Makes high-level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company.
- Prepares presentation materials for board of director meetings as well as managing a variety of logistics.
CEO Support:
- Handles a wide range of administrative and support tasks and independently initiates and implements processes to manage projects, information, and people on behalf of the office of the CEO.
- Using independent discretion, sends follow up communications to SVPs, Directors and Sr Managers to ensure requests are being handled in a timely manner.
- Manages the executive's schedule, meeting preparations, follow-up tasks, and complex travel arrangements.
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors such as travel, reporting needs, and material preparation.
- Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Conducts research and information gathering on behalf of the executive and prepares summaries and reports.
- Requires in-depth knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures.
- Independently manages the day to day administrative tasks of the CEO office. Schedules all appointments and makes adjustments to the calendar as needed. Assists with meeting preparation including: development of agenda, catering, recording of minutes, document creation and distribution. Greets and manages all guests of the CEO office, and handles their needs throughout the duration of their stay. Handles and resolves concerns. Screens incoming calls to the CEO, determining nature of the call and whether it requires attention from the CEO. Books all travel and arrangements for the CEO.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's
EXPERIENCE: 10+ Years of experience providing executive support to CEO or high-level executive.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
- Experience in working with senior level executives within and outside the company, as well as experience with customers, vendors, visitors, and other dignitaries.
- Experience using discretion, judgment, and knowledge of the organization to facilitate the executive's activities and maintain confidentiality.
- Requires in-depth knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE: Experience working with Board of Directors and preparing materials for Board of Directors meetings is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:
- Financial services industry experience.
- Uses discretion, judgment, and knowledge of the organization to facilitate the executive's activities and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience with customers, vendors, outside leaders and others.
Starting Compensation
Annual Salary: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 (Amount based on office location, relevant experience, skills, and competencies)
