About the opportunity

The Event Content, Senior Manager, role is responsible for leading and developing event content strategies, executing project plans for a myriad of event programs, including Dayforce's annual customer conference, and bringing content to life in preparation for onsite delivery. Reporting to the Vice President, Strategic Events, this role will operate in a leadership capacity, managing multiple projects and demonstrating critical thinking through the evaluation of content at events to ensure its impact on elevating market awareness, demand generation, and increased qualified lead activity.

In this role, the candidate will operate as the lead from a content perspective, responsible for the development and the execution of content as captured in the event content brief. This role requires a high degree of collaboration and coordination with varied key stakeholders and is responsible for ensuring content is delivered on message, on time while managing for version control and the necessary approvals required to ensure alignment with the corporate narrative.

This role interacts with demand generation, product management, and other marketing functions, building strong partnerships and ensuring strategies and activities are in alignment with business goals. Therefore, this individual will bring a level head, optimism, strong relationship-building skills, be highly organized, know how to work collaboratively across groups, as well as influence others.

As an important part of the team, this individual should be a critical thinker, flexible, with a positive mindset who is calm under pressure with an ability to solve problems in real time. This individual will consistently work with the team to find ways to improve current programs both in terms of content and generating innovative ideas to refresh programs year-over-year.

What you'll get to do

  • Lead the program content creation and delivery execution of event content including Dayforce's annual customer conference, sales kick-off, and strategic internal and external events.
  • Source, recommend and contract third-party speakers relevant to the event storyline and corporate narrative by maintaining relations with key speakers agencies.
  • Create and manage the means to track content development including means to evaluate impact and effectiveness of content.
  • Create, refine and implement a process to ensure the event red thread is signed off by the SVP Communications, continually checked against all speakers and sessions and shows up strongly in the final event content.
  • Grow and maintain strong and mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Content management for events including version control, executive briefing, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Collate content using onstage quotes and images to provide to the social media team for social media posts and blog articles.

Skills and experience we value

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field; Advanced degree a plus.
  • Seven plus years of marketing and/or product marketing experience, including demonstrated career progression.
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented.
  • Experienced in managing cross-group collaborations.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing plans that resulted in positive business outcomes.
  • Strong business-to-business communication and writing skills.
  • Must be comfortable and adept at speaking and presenting in front of an audience.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize a high volume of projects to deadline.
  • High level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Advanced ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Suite.
  • Cool, calm under pressure with an ability to adapt and problem solve.
  • Strong sense of leadership and internal fortitude.
  • Optimistic, positive mindset, a community builder.
  • Must be able to travel internationally. Travel is required (up to 50%).
