Events include our annual customer/partnership conference iPX, VIP experiences, hosted happy hours, industry conferences, and dinners. The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of how to marry business objectives with event experience, thrives in the weeds, is a detailed and organized planner who thinks of everything, a creative problem-solver, and an expert communicator comfortable leading people at all levels.

• Responsibilities:
• Meeting with internal stakeholders (Sales, Client Success, and other internal teams) to collaborate on event needs, goals, and success metrics. Establish clear roles and responsibilities. Enable attending staff with reports, event briefs, staff meetings, and other resources to ensure they're set up for success.
• Developing comprehensive and organized event plans, including timelines, schedules, and task assignments that are visible to internal and external stakeholders. This involves coordinating with vendors, venues, and other service providers. Managing event requirements like registration, overseeing contracts, building internal event landing pages on CVENT, working with internal teams to ensure accurate event reporting, and ordering and shipping required materials.
• Developing and executing marketing strategies in collaboration with the broader marketing team to promote the event, which can include social media, demand generation, design, and public relations, among other promotional strategies. Providing internal teams with detailed information, deadlines, and advance notice needed for them to carry out their work.
• Overseeing the event on the day to ensure everything runs according to plan, handling any issues that arise, and preparing and managing the event staff.
• Creating and managing the event budget, ensuring costs are controlled, submitting bills for payment, and reconciling corporate credit card charges.
• Conducting analysis after the event to assess its success, gather attendee and stakeholder feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Update reports tracking event success over time.
• Serving as event lead and overall project manager for iPX – iPX is our annual customer and thought leadership conference with 1,000+ attendees and 20+ sponsors across multiple days. While this person will oversee all the work, this person will very much own specific elements of the work, including: sourcing locations, contracting and managing vendors (logistics), coordinating speaker management and enablement along with a small internal team of stakeholders, serving as the primary AV vendor contact, and owning the ROS, among other things. This person will lead a diverse team, develop the overall event strategy in collaboration with the Senior Director of Events and key stakeholders. Building a project plan inclusive of all major milestones and tasks, and ensuring each team member understands their role and meets their deadlines and deliverables.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of events management experience
• Experience project managing and coordinating logistically complex user conferences/customer conferences with upwards of 800+ attendees
• Experience building, managing and reconciling a 1MM+ budget
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Meticulous project management skills
• Strong collaboration, communication and leadership skills
• Experience with events tech platforms
• Ability to travel to events about 6-8 times per year or as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience running large-scale events for SaaS companies
• Familiarity with building and managing events using CVENT

Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000 per year plus an additional 5% variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance and eligible to receive a Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.Benefits (Perks):
