Overview

This position will generally lead large conceptual EPC bids where experience plays a vital role in developing a good estimate. Senior Estimators report to the Director of Estimating. This position will be assigned to large projects with responsibility for all aspects of RFP requirements, winning proposal strategies, alternate contracting strategies, and risk management.

Location & Travel Details

This is an onsite position that must be located in one of our four office locations: Fargo, ND, Indianapolis, IN, Clinton, IN, or Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete conceptual estimates for large, complex EPC projects from receipt of bid package through final bid review, including site visits, scope determination, Material Takeoff, input data into estimating systems, and communication with Owner/Engineer.
• Manage bid time to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
• Create a collaborative environment and lead bid teams for large projects.
• Train and mentor junior estimators.
• Lead responsibilities such as site visits, RFQ analysis, and bid handover to field teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus related training or education equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of construction estimating experience.
• Knowledge of various contract types and experience in contract negotiations.
• Experience leading bids regularly.
