Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and seasoned Senior Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, ensuring competitive and profitable bidding, and supporting our pre-construction team with precise budgeting and planning. You'll collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, architects, and vendors to help drive project success from the initial planning phase through execution.

What You'll Do

  • Cost Estimation & Analysis: Use estimating software to calculate material, labor, and vendor costs for precise project budgeting.
  • Construction Document Review: Analyze blueprints, specifications, and documents to confirm scope and cost accuracy.
  • Document Management: Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and the project team.
  • Project Bidding: Lead bidding processes to ensure competitive, accurate estimates.
  • Collaboration: Partner with architects, engineers, and project managers to align estimates with goals.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to daily strategy sessions and weekly goal meetings to optimize workflow.
  • Job Site Visits: Occasionally visit sites to assess conditions and coordinate with field teams for cost-effective solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Adopt proprietary scheduling and communication tools to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or Supply Chain (preferred, not required).
  • 5+ years of experience in construction or estimating.
  • Knowledge of residential construction, business processes, and software systems (preferred).
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Balance of urgency and quality in all work.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and technical communication skills.
  • Process improvement mindset.
