Senior EstimatorPosition Overview The Senior Estimator will be responsible for leading the estimating process for various civil construction projects, focusing on utility work and water main installations. This role aims to provide accurate cost assessments and support the preconstruction phase to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and timeline.Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of accurate and detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, particularly in utility and water main work.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary data for estimates.
• Conduct thorough analysis of project documents, including drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
• Evaluate and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Assist in the development of project schedules and budgets during the preconstruction phase.
• Monitor project costs and provide cost control support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present detailed estimates to management and clients, justifying assumptions and methodologies used.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
