Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Review work progress and monitor environmental impact and compliance
· Confirm compliance and ensure reporting with/for all environmental requirements (statutes, regulations, permits, licenses, policies and procedures) during the construction and commissioning phases of the project. This will include all types of environmental aspects (emissions, noise, etc.), as well as other regulatory requirements/rules that are compliance topics.
· Collaborate with all stakeholders (environmental, construction, commissioning, engineering, etc.)
· Interface with appropriate customer representatives and the regulatory authorities during construction and commissioning
· Respond and assist resolution of any work delays, emergencies, and other environmental problems at the site during construction and commissioning
· Confirm and implement all environmental and compliance procedures and standards for all construction activities at the site
· Directly participate in the HSE activities at site as defined in the Site Environmental and HSE plans
· Participate in Environmental and regulatory inspections and investigations as appropriate
· Ensure environmental training programs are in place at the site. .
Qualifications - Internal
Qualifications
BS in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Planning or equivalent; Advanced degree(s) preferred in a relevant subject area
