OverviewIndependently leads multi-disciplinary teams through large-scale complex transformational change initiatives, or strategically important short-term engagements for senior management that deliver business outcomes. This function serves as independent 3rd party advising and supporting internal stakeholders on transformation delivery and execution. In-depth expertise in strategy and innovation methodologies for enterprise transformation delivery including program/project management, problem statement and scope definition, process re-engineering, organizational change management, performance measurement, and customer experience.
Primary ResponsibilitiesThe position serves in a lead capacity for less experienced personnel and in an indirect management role for delivery stakeholders. Does not directly manage a team.
Education and Experience RequiredBachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience. 7 or more years' related work experience.
Education and Experience Preferred5 or more years' project, program or portfolio management experience, specifically with large-scale transformation projects. Experience with Oracle Financial implementations. Experience with MS/Office, MS/Project, SharePoint, and JIRA. Relevant financial services industry experience preferred. Prior experience leading organizational change. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MS preferred. PMP, Agile, SAFe, Certified BA and/or ScrumMaster Certification. Prior management consulting or comparable client service experience a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented. Proven intellectual curiosity. Proven leadership skills. Demonstrated cognitive bandwidth.
Work Model & LocationThis is a hybrid role requiring three in-office days per week. The position can be based out of any of M&T Bank's four corporate hub locations below.
Anticipated travel requirements: Employees in this position should be prepared to travel at least once per quarter within the M&T Bank east coast footprint. Travel may occur more often than this and is based upon the needs of the business and projects assigned. Employees residing outside of the Buffalo market are anticipated to travel more often than those already located here.
CompensationM&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $100,611.94 - $167,686.57 Annual (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
