This Position reports to:

R&D Manager, Instrumentation Products

Role Overview:

In this role, you will contribute significantly to technology and product development projects by identifying and implementing innovative solutions. You will, under limited direction, perform a variety of complex engineering assignments requiring in-depth knowledge of a specific engineering discipline plus an understanding of related disciplines to cost effectively achieve objectives. Assignments typically require the use of advanced and innovative techniques. Proactively seek and implement initiatives to improve operations and increase customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Solving complex industrial problems, reviewing current technologies to select effective applications, equipment, and methods for new products or software.
  • Leading architectural decisions on Embedded Products, evaluating technical and business trade-offs.
  • Managing the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of embedded software: requirements engineering, design, implementation, testing, including final system testing and maintenance.
  • Performing complex technology/engineering assignments utilizing advanced, innovative techniques.
  • Team Dynamics:

    Qualifications: Required Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
    • Minimum 8 years of experience or a combination of education and accomplishments.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills.
    • Experience with State Machine design, Analog to Digital Signal Conversion, Embedded Programming, C programming, RTOS, and communication protocols.
    Preferred Skills:
    • Embedded hardware development, microcontroller design, Functional Safety Programming, DFT, DSP algorithms, data analysis with MATLAB/Python, automated testing, and familiarity with communication standards like HART, Fieldbus, MODBUS, Ethernet.
    • Experience with Guided wave radar, laser level products, and working with multi-functional teams.
    • Excellent communication skills and legal work authorization for the US.
