• Responsible for development of new products/parts (Metal - Auto components).
• Understand customer needs and incorporate them in product design.
• Handle customer queries and conduct technical meetings related to new product design/development.
• Monitor and record quality, cost, and delivery time of each new project.
• Plan daily/weekly work for the project being handled.
• Conduct new product technical feasibility studies, DFMEA, design reviews, DVP, etc.
• Document projects as per QMS and have knowledge in APQP process.
• Generate new product ideas and innovative products.
• Improve RFQ hit rate.
• Manage CAD data.
• Conduct regional customer audits.
• Support customers and visit them (if needed) to resolve technical issues.
• Design and develop new products/parts.
• Have knowledge of design and development for sheet metal clip parts.
• Knowledge of raw materials, spring steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other grades.
• Knowledge of heat treatment processes and surface coating.
• Facilitate new product feasibility studies.
• Maintain data for lessons learned.
• Exhibit good analytical skills in problem-solving methods.
• Participate in the implementation of internal tests (e.g., load tests).

• BE Mechanical with 7 to 8 years of experience in sheet metal part design.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with additional years of experience.
• Knowledge of sheet metal raw materials and processes.
