JOB TITLE & Employer Name: Senior Engineer, Industrial for GXO Logistics Supply Chain, Inc.Location4020 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, GA 30542Job DutiesThis multiclient facing role involves:Identifying facility layout design and personnel requirements to ensure smooth operations.Improving productivity of all processes and operators with a minimum 2% efficiency increase YOY.Planning daily operations to meet budget using efficiency standards.Developing and updating work instructions and conducting production time studies, head count analyses, downtime analyses, and efficiency improvement plans.Analyzing warehouse operations, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing site flow.Supporting pricing and solutions teams with operational cost data for RFPs.Tracking KPIs and developing basic analytics for operational metrics.Collaborating with vendors on operational equipment and automation solutions.Managing project plans for major improvements.Supporting maintenance with critical spare parts lists and min/max trackers.Performing daily P&L tracking and analyzing inbound, outbound, and inventory operations.Utilizing analytical tools like flow charts, Pareto charts, cause-and-effect diagrams, and A3s.Conducting value stream mapping and process standardizations across sites.RequirementsBachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field.At least 2 years of post-bachelor's experience in industrial engineering within supply chain and distribution environments, including:Six Sigma practices and principlesSupply chain warehousingWarehouse Management SystemsProject resource managementAt least 1 year of experience in all the above areas.GXO is a leading provider of supply chain solutions, leveraging technology and services to help customers manage goods efficiently.
