Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Embedded System Software Developer (m/f/d) to join our Embedded Operating System team in Neumünster. You will play a key role in developing the next-generation PLUS+1 Controller platform for mobile applications in construction, agriculture, and off-highway vehicles.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to the development of low-level software and embedded systems that meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with specifications, data sheets, and requirements
  • Tool-assisted requirements capturing
  • Designing and implementing drivers for real-time embedded systems
  • Contributing to safety-relevant software
  • Collaborating closely with global engineering teams

We are looking forward to hearing from if you meet most of the following requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field• Several years of experience in embedded software development using C• Great understanding of hardware circuitry as well as microcontroller architectures (e.g., Cortex-M, TriCore) and peripherals such as ADC, Timer, CAN, SPI, I2C• Proficiency with hardware debugging tools (e.g., JTAG debuggers, protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters)• A collaborative mindset and experience working in international, cross-functional teams• Fluency in English
