Senior Electronic Hardware Design Engineer - FuSa Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Electronic Hardware Design Engineer for our in-house electronic control module (ECU) development on Lucid's low-voltage HW team. The role requires extensive experience in high-reliability electronics designed for high-volume production. Candidates should demonstrate a can-do attitude, excellence in their field, and the ability to learn and strive for perfection in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead electronics systems from concept through prototyping, validation, testing, and support in production.
  • Specify, design, and develop automotive electronic hardware for functions such as access control, motor drivers, body control, network gateways, and low-voltage power delivery.
  • Create testing and validation plans to support technology transitions from R&D to production.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in high-reliability electronics for high-volume automotive production.
  • Skills in automotive safety analysis: DFMEAs, FMEAs, HARA, Safety Goals, FMEDA, Fault-tree Analysis, and related safety standards.
  • Ability to perform board design, prototype build, verification, DVT, PVT, and manufacturing support.
  • Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with automotive-grade product design.
  • System design skills in analog and digital circuits, DC/DC, microprocessors, and emerging EV technologies.
  • Proficiency in power circuits, processors, networking, and embedded system architecture.
  • At least 5 years of experience in automotive electronics development for mass production, focusing on DFx, EMC compliance, and related areas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 and safety-critical automotive process standards.
  • Experience with high-speed network hardware, high-current power delivery, automotive Ethernet, GMSL, LED drivers, and SOC processors.
