You will focus on post-development activities such as troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and technical support, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product excellence and smooth transitions from pilot to volume suppliers. We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Has 5+ years of experience in sustaining engineering, preferably with complex electronic products in the semiconductor industry.
- Possesses expertise in electronic control systems, I/O interfaces, and semiconductor processing technologies.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, including experience with Six Sigma, 8D, or similar methodologies.
- Has hands-on experience with analog and digital design tools such as Orcad/Allegro, PCAD, and Altium.
- Understands industry standards and regulations (e.g., SEMI standards, UL certifications).
- Has excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Is self-motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
What you'll do: - Serve as a technical expert for volume suppliers, providing advanced troubleshooting and support.
- Validate and transition volume suppliers after feasibility testing with pilot suppliers.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance product reliability.
- Design and optimize electronic control solutions using industry-standard tools.
- Maintain and improve technical documentation for troubleshooting and compliance.
- Lead firmware updates and design changes, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to facilitate seamless product rollouts.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reduce failures.
