Merrick & Company is seeking a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer for our Energy, Manufacturing & Bioprocessing department to join our team in our Greenwood Village, CO, Richmond, VA, Ellicott City, MD, or Tulsa, OK offices. This business unit supports several market sectors including but not limited to industrial food & beverage, refining, power, and advanced biofuels markets. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and relocation assistance.Typical annual pay range is $125,400.00 - $162,300.00, depending on experience and qualifications.WHAT YOU'LL DOLead major projects or several projects of moderate scope with complex features.Develop electrical design documents and drawings.Review and approve work of others; monitor team performance.Design low voltage power distribution, lighting, grounding, motor control systems, PLC/PAC, HMI's, process equipment, and instrumentation.Interact with clients, contractors, and officials.Lead project meetings and deliver presentations.Perform electrical calculations such as voltage drop, short circuit, coordination studies, arc flash, relay settings, conduit fill, lighting, and grounding.Create specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment like transformers, switchgear, MCCs.Travel to project sites for field walk-downs and as-built documentation.Manage resources to stay within project estimates.Coordinate with Design/Engineering Managers to meet project schedules and deliverables.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSAt least 12 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in power, energy, oil and gas, or industrial processing industries.Experience with one-line diagrams, control schematics, wiring diagrams, electrical specifications, power plans, conduit plans, and cable schedules.Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, IEC standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).Experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, or similar design software.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college.PE License is required.U.S. Citizenship is required for client projects.PERKSEmployee Stock Ownership Plan.Employee Referral Program.Annual reviews and merit increases.Professional development opportunities.Recognition awards.Peer mentorship programs.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONApply online only; no third-party resumes accepted.Competitive compensation and benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.Equal Opportunity Employer.Employment contingent upon background check and drug screen.#LI-Hybrid#J-18808-Ljbffr
