ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Design high power/mixed signal circuits, electrical fans, servo motor drives and system interface.
- Research and Development design for high performance variable speed brushless DC motors and Axial/Mixed flow/Centrifugal fan assemblies.
- Controller design (hardware and firmware) for pumping systems.
- Hardware and firmware design for sensor devices, flow sensor and configurable controllers.
- Provide engineering support in production realization, new business proposal preparation and cost evaluation.
- Other job duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required, Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering with an emphasis on aerospace and defense manufacturing.
- Software: Cadence OrCAD 16.5 (or newer), C/C++, MS programs, Keil 5 (or newer), C#, Autodesk Eagle 9 (or newer), RTOS and circuit simulation tools.
- Electrical testing and board/system level troubleshooting with common electronic testing instruments (e.g., oscilloscope, frequency counter, spectrum analysis, curve tracer).
- Project and/or Program Management experience.
- Familiarity with ISO 90001 or AS9100 standards.
- Previous experience with Department of Defense contractual requirements a plus!
