This position is responsible for assisting with efforts toward the development of grant applications and the implementation of projects administered by the Farmworker Career Development Program (FCDP) Section. This position assists the Senior Educational Program Director in acting for the Department of Education in fulfilling technical responsibilities associated with managing and monitoring the National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP) administered by the U. S. Department of Labor under the authority of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I, Section 167. This position will also be responsible for conducting US DOL/ ETA required on-site program and fiscal monitoring of FCDP sub-grantees in accordance with federal and state expenditure guidelines and providing technical assistance and guidance to sub-grantees as it relates to the accurate submission of monthly grant data through an Excel-based reporting system.
