Job Description

Are you passionate about grammar and style? Do you enjoy debating the nuances of annotation and style guides? If so, we are looking for a Senior Editor who collaborates with writers, creative directors, and project managers to ensure content is on tone, accurate, and well-referenced. The ideal candidate will have substantial medical/pharmaceutical experience and be fluent in AMA style. Comfort working on digital copy and adapting to various client/brand style guides is essential.

This person should be enthusiastic about doing great work and committed to high standards.

Responsibilities
  • Edit, fact-check, and proofread web and digital copy.
  • Ensure adherence to client and brand guidelines.
  • Maintain project style sheets.
  • Request and track permissions as needed.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional editorial skills.
  • Strong proofreading and fact-checking abilities.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and diverse editorial styles.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 3 years of editorial experience, including medical/pharmaceutical and web content.
  • Comfort with technology and medical topics.
  • Fluency in AMA style.
  • High dedication and standards.
