As a Senior Director, Software Engineering, you will leverage your expertise in software architecture, APIs, microservices, and cloud technologies to design and implement scalable platform solutions that deliver real business results. You will partner with leadership to influence strategic decisions, ensuring our software systems evolve to meet future needs. You'll be the go-to expert for all things software, shaping innovative, customer-focused solutions.
The software engineering organization at OUTFRONT manages our cloud-based enterprise advertising platform, providing tools for creating RFPs, executing contracts, pitching, planning, measuring campaigns, and transacting at scale.
We seek a Senior Director of Software Engineering to manage and develop a new team that will deliver foundational capabilities for our platform and iterate as the business transforms. You will use your experience in building large-scale, highly available distributed systems to remake our core ad platform, utilizing SaaS solutions and API gateways with microservices. You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders across product, project management, engineering, operations, and data analytics to establish and execute the vision for our new platform.
Your experience with technologies including functional and flexible programming languages, gRPC and REST web service frameworks, container (e.g., Kubernetes) and serverless (e.g., AWS Lambda) environments, cloud databases, and security will greatly benefit our organization. The salary range is $225,000-$250,000 per year, with incentive compensation. Compensation is determined during interviews based on experience, skills, and market benchmarks. This information is provided in accordance with the New York City Salary Transparency Law.
