Senior Director, Regulatory Advisory andamp; Advocacy - Capital One : Job Details

Lead the development and implementation of a strategy for prudential regulatory agency engagement that amplifies and enhances Capital Ones leadership as a tech-forward, financial institution. Lead, on behalf of Regulatory Affairs, the development and implementation of enterprise-wide policy advocacy efforts, in partnership with subject matter experts. Oversee regulatory and supervisory relations and interactions between Capital Ones leaders and the Federal Regulatory supervisory staff and key principals across the agencies. Advise functional partners on current and emerging risks, opportunities and challenges that the company faces in the supervisory and regulatory environment, as well as the controls the Management team has established to manage these risks. Develop the technical competencies and analytical mindset of Capital One Associates who perform regulatory affairs and external affairs work to ensure awareness of emerging risks and a comprehensive risk program.
