Overview

IQVIA is hiring a Senior Director, Product Management who will be responsible for owning the strategic direction of IQVIA's products, including defining the vision and overall roadmap prioritization. You will drive product innovation and support Directors in developing operational strategies to assure successful implementation/execution of company products. You will lead one of our Product Domains dealing with cloud-based data platform technologies. You will execute with a small team of Product Managers and Product Owners, and consolidate the company's solutions plus define a future proven common, standardized approach to stratify investments and capabilities in these areas for our IQVIA Data Products.

What will you be doing?
  • Market-Oriented Strategy: Develop and implement IQVIA's data products across the organization, focusing on internal stakeholder and market demand.
  • Trend Analysis: Analyze internal demand patterns, market trends, customer needs (GBUs, RBUs, and Users in Operations), and the competitive landscape to align products with company strategy.
  • Product Definition & Design: Define, design, and position products, components, or platforms with product governance gates, quarterly planning, and agile development. This includes also the consolidation of overlapping products and capabilities.
  • Partnership Management: Scope and execute partnerships to enhance product offerings in collaboration with our Architecture & Standards Function.
  • Budget & Forecasting: Co-manage annual product budget setting, staffing, and multi-year forecasting to deliver business value.
  • Product Roadmaps: Own product roadmaps, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategy.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, adjusting strategy as needed.
  • Executive Presentations: Prepare and present product updates, strategies, and business cases to executives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • We expect skills and experience in Product strategy, Product ownership, Line Management, Delivery, cloud-based data platform and Big Data Technologies and Healthcare if possible
What is required to get the job done?
  • Experience: 10+ years in complex software product management or a similar role.
  • Transformation to data consumption models: experience and significant success contribution for transformation of a data business to a true consumption model based on cloud-based data platform technologies.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communicator and collaborator.
  • Research & Analysis: Proficient in internal inventory research, market research, and competitive analysis.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Expertise in managing the product lifecycle.
  • Business Acumen & Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Pricing & Positioning: Skilled in pricing, costing and positioning strategies.
  • Data Driven: Everything we do is data driven, so a data driven mentality and willingness to understand our data is key
  • Leadership & Vision: Strong leadership and vision, leadership experience
  • Big Data: Good experience in Big Data Technologies
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder Influence & Negotiation: Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Financial Modeling & ROI Calculation: Proficient in financial modeling and ROI calculation.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $137,700.00 - $383,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
