The only company recognized twice by KLAS for Overall Healthcare Management Consulting, is seeking a Senior Director of Management Services for a hospital located in the Bronx, New York.

The Senior Director will report to the Vice President of Management Services and will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and administration of a coordinated supply support system that operates efficiently and meets the clinical and financial needs of the client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods and systems for improving operational efficiencies, controlling supply and instrument inventory, including procurement, receiving, handling, transportation, storing, accounting, and issuing of materials and instruments.
  • Ensure adequate supply levels and coordinate timely supply distribution.
  • Maintain open communication with the client to ensure materials meet required standards.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to physicians and staff to develop their understanding of supply chain best practices to meet operational and financial goals.
  • Develop cost reduction programs while maintaining client satisfaction.
  • Identify sourcing opportunities, service improvements, and product standardization aligned with client expectations.
  • Maintain and support automated systems for purchasing and receiving activities.
  • Develop and implement an asset management strategy supporting financial goals and capital planning.
  • Determine budgetary needs for designated areas and manage to the prescribed budget.
  • Required Qualifications
    • Work Experience: 10 or more years
    • Education: Bachelor's degree (Required); Master's degree (Preferred)
    Preferred Skills and Experience
    • Knowledge of healthcare supply chain management principles in procurement, receiving, distribution, replenishment, and equipment management.
    • Knowledge of accounting principles, cost analysis, standard costing, and process improvement.
    • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare supply chain information systems.
