Senior Director, Design & Engineering (Data Centers)

Senior Director, Data Center Engineering and Design required but an industry leader in data center colocation and hyperscale, with nearly 100 locations globally.

Compensations

$200k + 20% bonus (flexible depending upon experience)

Location

Preference to Denver or Dallas

The role

• Technically and strategically lead data center design and delivery
• Lead a team of engineering experts, including mechanical & electrical
• Manage external engineering teams
• Deliver data center cooling (liquid and air), power, UPS, switchgear, electrical systems
• Develop templates and technical specifications (mechanical and electrical)
• Strategic planning of capacity upgrades ad systems upgrades

Requirement

• Electrical Engineer Degree
• Experience managing an engineering team
• Electrical engineering and/or MEP leadership experience
• Data Center design and electrical code
• Solid understanding of data centers, electrical plant, mechanical plants, cooling systems etc
• Understanding of construction principles and application to data centers
