Now operating in Missouri, South Carolina, and Virginia, Concordance is a national leader in compassionate, innovative reentry care.Position Overview:The Senior Director of Data Analytics is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for designing and executing a data strategy that empowers evidence-based decisions across Concordance. This role leads the development of a centralized data warehouse, enterprise analytics, and strong data governance practices. It also drives advanced analytics – including predictive modeling - to generate insights that improve outcomes, identify risks, and maximize impact. The position is instrumental in guiding strategic decisions, program innovation, and performance measurement across all sites and services.Key Responsibilities - your role will involve:Data Strategy & Infrastructure
- Lead the development and execution of Concordance's data strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the creation of a centralized data warehouse and implement governance frameworks to ensure data integrity.
- Establish a measurement framework to evaluate program effectiveness and community impact.
- Collaborate with leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress.
- Act as a strategic partner, translating insights into actionable decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement through internal reporting and program metrics.
Data Quality, Governance & Stewardship
- Develop and enforce data governance policies in partnership with IT, emphasizing integrity, privacy, and access.
- Maintain data dictionaries, metadata standards, and audit protocols.
- Ensure infrastructure security and regulatory compliance through collaboration with IT and vendors.
- Oversee data validation processes to uphold quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local data regulations.
Advanced Analytics & AI
- Develop predictive models to enhance participant outcomes, optimize program delivery, and inform resource allocation.
- Leverage natural language processing (NLP) to analyze qualitative data and improve service insights and strategies.
- Apply geospatial analytics for site planning and assessing community needs.
- Monitor emerging trends in AI, automation, and data science to identify innovative solutions that advance mission objectives.
Performance Reporting & Measurement
- Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools in collaboration with IT.
- Lead organization-wide efforts to define, monitor, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Work closely with program and evaluation teams in support of grant management, ensuring accurate tracking, analysis, and reporting of program outcomes to support compliance.
- In partnership with the CEO, turn data into compelling stories that can be leveraged to tell the Concordance story.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Leadership
- Collaborate with functional leaders across Program, Development, Finance, HR, Learning & Development, and IT to align data strategies with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand the Concordance model and develop data collection processes that align with operational goals and funder requirements.
- Represent Concordance in data-driven collaborations, research initiatives, and external presentations to advance thought leadership and partnership opportunities.

Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in data analytics.
- Proven ability to build scalable data infrastructure, ideally in nonprofit, social impact or healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in data science tools/language (e.g., SQL, Python, R), and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Demonstrated experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks and managing data quality/stewardships.
- Exceptional communication skills – able to translate complex analytics into strategic insights.
Preferred Education:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Public Policy, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with NLP tools and frameworks and GIS/geospatial platforms.
- Familiarity with logic models, outcomes frameworks, or evidence-based program evaluation.
