Senior Director Nursing - Sutter Health : Job Details

Provides administrative and nursing leadership to a team of multi-disciplinary leaders managing the delivery of patient care, or to a significant sized nursing team that operates across multiple campuses/affiliates. Participates in system-sponsored nursing and other relevant initiatives, establishing goals and standards to support patient care initiatives and to ensure the delivery of high-value quality care and achievement of common objectives. Develops and fosters a solid partnership with physicians, medical staff and Sutter Health leaders, and employees to facilitate and collaborate on initiatives, to resolve operational challenges and/or to improve processes. Works with senior leadership to develop and establish short- and long-term strategic plans that complement system, operating unit or affiliate goals and initiatives, including business, operations, and/or organizational priorities.
