Reporting to the Vice President of Management Services, the Director, Management Services will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and administration of a coordinated supply support system that operates efficiently and meets the clinical and financial needs of the client.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing methods and systems for improving operational efficiencies, and controlling supply and instrument inventory, including procurement, receiving, handling, transportation, storing, accounting, and issuing of materials and instruments.
- Ensuring adequate supply levels and coordinating timely supply distribution.
- Maintaining open communication with the client to ensure materials meet required standards.
- Providing leadership, guidance, and support to physicians and staff to develop their understanding of supply chain best practices to meet operational and financial goals.
- Developing cost reduction programs while maintaining client satisfaction levels.
- Identifying sourcing opportunities, service improvements, and product standardization aligned with client expectations.
- Supporting all automated systems for purchasing and receiving activities.
- Developing and implementing an asset management strategy to support financial goals and capital planning.
- Managing budgetary needs for designated areas within the prescribed budget.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of applicable work experience.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Skills in healthcare supply chain, accounting principles, and project management.
- Experience with healthcare supply chain management, cost analysis, and process improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare supply chain information systems.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods and operate computer programs.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to make independent decisions and adapt to changing priorities.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range: $125,000 - $231,000, dependent on market factors and experience. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, paid time off, incentive plans, and professional development opportunities.
