Senior Director, Human Resources

New York, NY (near Grand Central, 3-4 days onsite)

We are exclusively retained by a successful and growing talent solutions firm to appoint their next Senior Director of Human Resources. Based in their New York office near Grand Central, you will lead a team of six across New York and London. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with the executive leadership team to shape and execute a people strategy that supports a high-performance, growth-oriented culture.

This is a fast-paced, sales-driven organization seeking an HR leader who can elevate their Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development functions while ensuring core HR operational processes meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership Development: Enhance leadership capabilities across management and executive levels.
  • Talent Acquisition: Redesign and scale recruitment strategies to support high-volume, early-career hiring.
  • Organizational Development: Lead workforce planning, succession strategies, and internal mobility initiatives.
  • People Operations: Ensure scalable, compliant, and efficient HR processes across the U.S. and U.K.
  • Systems & Analytics: Leverage HRIS and people analytics to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and board on all people-related matters.

What We're Looking For:

We seek an experienced HR leader who thrives in agile, high-growth environments and has a proven track record of partnering with leadership to drive business outcomes. Expertise in Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development is essential, as these are key investment areas for the business. Global experience is a plus, but most important is a high-energy, collaborative, and commercially minded approach to HR leadership.
