Our culture empowers everyone to be successful and apply our full potential.About The RoleThe Senior Director of Engineering is responsible for overseeing and directing all engineering activities within our Baudette, MN facility, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing projects, and leading teams to achieve operational goals. This role typically involves a broad range of responsibilities, including facility design and maintenance, equipment management, project execution, and driving innovation and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Develop and implement engineering strategies and plans to support the company's objectives, including facility upgrades, new equipment installations, and process improvementsProject Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, and meet quality standardsCompliance and Quality: Ensure adherence to cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulations, and other relevant guidelinesTeam Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environmentProcess Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivityCollaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutionsSafety: Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and maintaining safety programs and proceduresInnovation: Encourage and support innovation in engineering practices and technologiesFinancial Management: Manage the engineering budget, including capital projects and operating expensesFacilities Management: Oversees the design, maintenance, and optimization of all facilities, utilities, and equipment, ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and safety standards while maintaining a state of inspection readinessRequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).10+ years of experience in engineering, preferably in a pharmaceutical or related manufacturing environmentProven ability to lead, manage and empower a team of engineers and techniciansExperience in managing complex engineering projects from start to finishStrong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with cross-functional teamsA strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and a commitment to driving innovationThe base salary range for this position is $210,000 - $240,000 ; the exact salary depends on various factors such as experience, skills, education, location, competencies and industry-specific knowledge. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a competitive short term and long term incentive program based on performance and company results.ANI Pharmaceuticals offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off.
