We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Director, Corporate & Foundation Partnerships to lead and grow revenue-generating philanthropic initiatives.
This role reports to the VP & Chief Development Officer and sits on the Executive Leadership team, collaborating with senior leadership to align fundraising strategy with organizational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue & Strategy
- Lead major fundraising initiatives for corporate and foundation partners, growing and diversifying philanthropic support.
- Develop and execute strategies to identify, cultivate, and steward top institutional donors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate opportunities and optimize investment in program growth.
- Build a robust pipeline of high-capacity partners, leveraging data and analytics to inform decisions.
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and manage a team of 10+, fostering professional growth and best practices.
- Align departmental and cross-functional teams to execute coordinated fundraising strategies.
- Champion collaboration and innovation to maximize revenue, efficiency, and staff engagement.
Operations & Engagement
- Set goals and priorities for the Corporate & Foundation Relations portfolio.
- Increase visibility and engagement of leadership with funders through strategic cultivation and stewardship.
- Implement systems and processes to optimize institutional fundraising and internal collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
- 12+ years of fundraising and development experience in complex organizations, with at least 10 years in leadership.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue goals and developing effective fundraising strategies.
- Strong experience in data-driven donor management, leveraging technology to identify prospects and inform growth.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience collaborating in matrixed organizations and managing cross-functional priorities.
