Senior Director - Hitech Business Development

Location: Bay Area preferred. Client travel required, domestic and international.

Overview

Infosys BPM is seeking to hire a Senior Director for New Account Business Development to expand the BPO outsourcing presence in Hi-Tech accounts. The Senior Director–HiTech Business Development is responsible for all client interfaces within the assigned Hi-Tech sector. The role will build an account plan and drive business development, growth, and expansion of the Infosys BPM brand based on the account plan. The incumbent will expand the Infosys BPM footprint across lines of business to offer BPO outsourcing services, Global Business Services, and the Global Delivery Model to bid on growth opportunities.

Role Description
  • Business development with the goal of leveraging existing contacts to introduce Infosys BPM into an assigned one named Hi-Tech account
  • Manage and own the opportunity management cycle: Prospect – Evaluate – Propose – Close
  • Client delivery assurance: collaborate with delivery stakeholders to fulfill commitments and ensure SLAs are measured and met; provide client introductions, customer maps, and organization charts to support the account plan
  • Conduct competitor analysis, monitor market trends, and gather intelligence for the deals and business units supported in the account
  • Account planning and governance: create the account plan including relationships, opportunities, and pricing decisions
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • 14+ years of experience with strong business development background
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in new business development and large-scale BPO outsourcing deals
  • Ability to leverage existing contacts to expand the business within the Hi-Tech sector
  • Track record of interacting with CXO-level client contacts
  • Understanding of sales cycles, budget cycles, and the client bid process
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
  • Ability to collaborate with internal cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience across BPO, Management Consulting, and Business Consulting engagements
  • Track record of growing BPO outsourcing business within Hi-Tech sector accounts
  • Knowledge of Hi-Tech industry trends and insights; understanding of Hi-Tech business issues driving BPO outsourcing
  • Global Delivery Model experience
  • Experience managing and communicating with large international teams
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in a rapidly growing HiTech sector
Work Model

This role is client-facing with the ability to be remote (WFH) when not client-facing. Some domestic and occasional international travel is required. Preference is to be local to the Bay Area.

Compensation

Base salary range: $175k–$225k
