Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a passionate Senior Development Executive (SDE) to play a pivotal role in our mission to support and uplift older adults. As a vital partner to the CEO and board of trustees, the SDE will serve as the foremost fundraising leader, crafting and executing innovative multi-year fundraising and engagement strategies. You will lead our fundraising efforts and manage relationships with high-level donors and funders, while also enhancing community engagement and visibility initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative, strategic, and mission-driven professional adept at building relationships and mobilizing resources for a profound impact. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit development, along with a track record of securing substantial donations, corporate sponsorships, and grant funding, is essential.
Exceptional skills in communication, relationship-building, and storytelling are crucial, as well as experience partnering with boards, executive leaders, and community stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree is required, with preference given to candidates holding an advanced degree or CFRE certification.
