Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 Per Year

A global fashion company specializing in contemporary styles is seeking a highly creative Senior Designer to join their team immediately. The role focuses on women's sweaters, wovens, and knits, from concept to pre-production. Experience in the contemporary market is a plus.

In this position, you will collaborate with the merchandising team to leverage your design expertise and creative inspiration for the knitwear collection.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and identify trend directions for contemporary sweaters, including color, stitch, yarn, print/pattern, and silhouette.
• Manage product design and development from concept through pre-production.
• Create detailed flat sketches for presentations to the product development team and buyers.
• Source inspiration and identify product opportunities through marketplace research.
• Communicate seasonal trend directions to upper management.
• Partner with technical design and production teams to ensure quality standards.
• Create tech packs for factory sample development and production samples.
• Collaborate closely with sales, merchandising, and production teams.
• Ensure products align with overall business strategy and key product assortments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing contemporary sweaters.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D software, and Microsoft Office.
