In this position, you will be responsible for attending client meetings, creating and managing budgets and schedules, sourcing fabrics, wall covering, furniture, and other materials, and working with the team to prepare formal board presentations.ResponsibilitiesProvide project admin support to Designers and ManagersOversee and lead design team on assigned multifamily projectsInteract with clients dailyCoordinate with other professionals such as contractors, architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure project successDevelop strong relationships with vendorsPrepare and manage furniture budgetsCapable of preparing and presenting to clients both virtually and in-personOversee furniture budgets on assigned projectsOversee furniture purchase orders and orders on assigned projectsRedline 50% of construction document sets on smaller projects for issuanceRedline drawing sets to ensure accuracy in incorporating redlinesRelay pertinent project-specific information to Project Managers for RFPsSuccessfully multi-task to meet fast-paced project deadlinesUtilize vendor and material knowledge to create unique and innovative presentationsProduce detailed documentation, instructions, drawings, and specificationsAssist in requesting pricing for budgetary purposesEnsure adherence to building codes and ADA compliance throughout the project lifecycleManage and coordinate installationsRecord and publish meeting minutesSelect furniture, art, and accessoriesProvide mentorship for junior and intermediate DesignersDomestic travel is requiredQualifications & SkillsBachelor's Degree in Interior DesignProfessional license is requiredRelevant experience in multifamily projectsTechnical proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Enscape is desirableExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to develop collaborative relationships within the firm and with clientsAbility to clearly communicate design ideas and concepts both verbally and digitallyDevelop strong intercompany relationshipsThis job description is not exhaustive and duties may change at any time with or without notice.HPA Design Group is Humphreys & Partners Architects LP's national, award-winning interior design firm, known for creating designs that sell.
