Founding Member of Technical Staff - Design Engineer – Onsite in NYC. Our NYC based customers are expanding their team, looking for a Member of Technical Staff - Design Engineer (expertise in product design with understanding of frontend development).

• Founding member within Design Engineering.
• Work mostly with open source and work alongside experts in the field.
• Design and implement intuitive, performant, and visually polished UIs for complex LLM workflows.
• Help define the design language and long-term vision for how users interact with the platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to guide them using cutting-edge technology.
• This role is ideal for someone passionate about frontend engineering, design systems, and building developer tools.

• Design and implement frontend interfaces for data-intensive applications and LLM workflows.
• Contribute to design systems and UI components used across the platform.
• Collaborate with product and backend teams to deliver cohesive user experiences.
• Participate in design reviews and mentor other engineers as needed.

• Must have experience with designing for AI or developer tools or infrastructure products.
• Either worked at a modern big tech company or at a fast-paced startup or scale-up.
• Thrive working in a high-growth, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment.
• Onsite 5 days a week (one week quarterly remote).
• Base salary: $200,000 - $300,000 per year.
