Senior Demand Planner - Ultimate Staffing : Job Details

Now Hiring: Senior Demand Planner - Onsite in Lake Forest, CA

I'm working with a well-established client in the automotive electronics space that's looking for a Senior Demand Planner to join their team full-time, onsite 5 days a week in Lake Forest, CA.

This is a high-impact role for someone with 8+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain, ideally within electronics or a related industry. The position requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage complex supply and production planning processes.

Demand & Supply Planning

• Develop internal forecasts using historical data, customer projections, and business insights.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels across bulk and finished goods to avoid stockouts.
• Recommend order quantities and timing to Buyers and submit order requests accordingly.

Production Planning

• Create SKU-level production schedules while adapting to resource and priority constraints.
• Collaborate daily with the production team to align on execution and resolve issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to align forecasts and inventory strategies.
• Monitor inventory across multiple warehouses using ERP tools and manage work orders from planning through fulfillment.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support supplier performance reviews and sourcing initiatives.
• Apply Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) policies in planning decisions.
• Provide backup support for Buyers as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years in supply chain, procurement, or materials planning-preferably in electronics.
• Strong forecasting and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in Excel and supply chain software (MRP, PSI); SYSPRO ERP experience is a plus.
• Experience supporting national retail customers is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Mandarin (Chinese) language skills are a plus.

Compensation:Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000, depending on experience.
