Role Description

We are seeking Senior Software Engineers with in-depth knowledge of low-level database architecture and APIs to lead the development of database-specific zero-copy abstractions, allowing for programmatic human or AI interfacing. The majority of programming work is to be done in Rust, so senior-level proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Contribution and or design of a deployed database system
• Senior-level proficiency in the Rust programming language
• Experience working with database protocols (ex. Postgresql Wire Protocol)
• Open-source Rust code available for the hiring agents' review
• Experience working with high-performance networking protocols
• A genuine passion for data infrastructure
