Role Overview
IOTE Technologies is seeking a highly skilledDatabase Developerto join our growing technology team. This role demands strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for designing scalable and efficient data systems that drive our client digital solutions based out of USA.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement database solutions that meet business requirements and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into effective database designs.
- Optimize database schemas, tables, and indexes for improved performance and scalability.
- Write and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data manipulation and analysis.
- Perform data modeling and database design for efficient data storage and access.
- Work closely with software developers to integrate databases with applications seamlessly.
- Implement robust database security practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, data inconsistencies, and system errors effectively.
- Conduct regular performance tuning and database maintenance to ensure system efficiency.
- Maintain documentation for database architecture, development practices, and procedures.
- Promote a positive and respectful team environment through integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree inComputer Science,Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Developer or similar role.
- Expertise in database systems such asOracle,MySQL, orSQL Server.
- Strong command ofSQLand experience with query tuning and optimization.
- Solid understanding ofdatabase designanddata modelingprinciples.
- Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards (e.g.,GDPR,HIPAA).
- Understanding ofsoftware development methodologies(Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.
