Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Senior Database Developer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with enterprise-level database systems and related technologies, with a strong emphasis on performance optimization. They will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining our database infrastructure, with a particular focus on implementing efficient strategies to ensure data consistency, availability, and data consistency across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions that support our enterprise applications.
Implement and optimize database replication processes, ensuring data consistency across multiple environments.
Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Collaborate with software developers to integrate databases seamlessly into applications.
Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization of database systems.
Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Design and develop complex reports and dashboards using optimized SQL queries for efficient report generation.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or related experience
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in database development and management
Strong proficiency in T-SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server replication technologies
Expertise in database performance tuning and query optimization
Experience with database replication methods, including log-based and trigger-based CDC.
Familiarity with cloud database solutions
Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
Experience with ETL processes and reporting tools.
Required Skill:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and its replication features
Experience with high-availability solutions like AlwaysOn Availability Groups
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
Strong understanding of database security and access control mechanisms
Familiarity with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch
Experience with performance monitoring and tuning tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
