Senior Database Administrator (DBA) - iCallidus : Job Details

Location: Remote/Hybrid Position: When on-site presence is required, it will be at 335 Adams Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201; 2 Metrotech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201; or other designated DIIT locations within the five boroughs of New York City, as determined.Contingent Upon AwardKey Responsibilities:Lead and manage the design, creation, and maintenance of enterprise databases, including data modeling and the development of DataMarts.Administer and support SQL Server databases in high-availability, clustered, and virtualized environments.Implement and maintain SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and Reporting Services (SSRS).Serve as a key member of the database team, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability of database systems.Perform regular backups and restorationsand manage SQL Server replication strategies.Optimize SQL queries and perform in-depth performance tuning and troubleshooting.Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS and scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Shell).Collaborate with other IT and business teams to deliver efficient data solutions aligned with organizational goals.Required Experience:8+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA.Proven experience in enterprise-level database design, deployment, and administration.Strong background in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and advanced SQL query optimization.Certifications:Current and relevant database certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, or similar).Technical Skills:SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSASETL, Data Warehousing (DWH), Operational Data Store (ODS)XML, Shell scripting, PowerShell, BashClearance Requirement: As part of the security clearance process, all applicants must undergo a background investigation, which includes fingerprinting and the completion of an online background questionnaire.
