Job Summary:
Dexian is seeking a Senior Data Strategy Consultant for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
Perform current state data architecture and tooling assessments across all data domains supported by control functions.Conduct cross-domain reviews to identify synergies and opportunities to eliminate redundancy and duplication of data.Establish capabilities framework for various data tools (metadata/lineage, data sourcing, data provisioning, data accessibility, data archival, data security, data quality, etc.) and perform comparative analysis to recommend tools and establish standardized architecture and tooling strategy.Develop a high-level Data Master Plan and roadmap to advance data architecture and tooling strategy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business and regulatory requirements that meet business objectives, translating client needs and satisfaction.Ensure application data architecture and tooling adherence to overall strategy through deep domain and technology expertise, with ongoing interaction with architecture, development, business solutions, and change management partners.Requirements:
Experience in building large-scale distributed enterprise platforms and products focusing on performance, scale, security, and reliability.Hands-on technical experience with warehouse architecture, data modeling, requirement gathering, and relational database structures.Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in designing and developing client requirements.Hands-on design and development experience in Snowflake, DBT, AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda), Kafka.Lead the development and implementation of high-quality, scalable, and efficient data products.Proven ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.Ensure compliance with established architecture, design patterns, policies, standards, and best practices.Identify system data, hardware, and software components required to meet project needs.Experience working in an Agile environment using SDLC tools like Jira.Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Experience with next-generation tools and technologies (AI/ML, RPA, etc.) is a plus.Bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science or related field is highly desirable.Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
