Our company is on a mission to redefine the live event experience on a global scale.

We're looking for an accomplished Senior Data Scientist to join our Data Engineering & Analytics team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in crafting and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models that drive business and operational decisions within our dynamic ecosystem.

Our Data Science team enables data-driven decisions across the organization by harnessing consumer data through statistical and machine learning techniques. This involves creating both business-facing and customer-facing products, along with delivering user-friendly tools and clear explanations for non-technical users to enhance self-service capabilities.

About The Role

As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll lead in a specific business domain, shaping strategy and executing model development. You will lead teams—initially through influence and potentially later with direct reports. We seek someone passionate about building models that empower data-driven decisions, with strong engineering principles to enable full ownership of the model lifecycle. Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences are essential.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on predictive modeling in forecasting and pricing
  • Collaborate with business partners to develop roadmaps and manage projects independently
  • Mentor junior team members and promote best practices through workshops, reading groups, and knowledge sharing
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, results-oriented execution, open innovation, and creativity within your team

Required Skills :

  • 5-9 years of relevant data science or machine learning experience; MS or Ph.D. in math, statistics, computer science, or related fields preferred
  • Proficiency with large-scale data analysis using cloud platforms (e.g., SparkSQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks) and SQL
  • Expertise in Python or R, with experience in scientific libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn)
  • Experience deploying production models in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of time series modeling (GAMs, GLMs, ARs) and real-time forecasting is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders to understand and meet data needs
