To fill this gap, they have recently onboarded a leading expert from the AI/Machine Learning field to develop a unique product. This ambitious project aims to automate and replace the extensive data science efforts that cost companies hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars, providing personalized insights in B2B contexts.

They are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead this innovative initiative. Responsibilities include applying data mining techniques, conducting statistical analysis, building predictive systems, developing recommendation engines, and establishing internal A/B testing procedures and automation reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Select features, build, and optimize classifiers using machine learning techniques.
  • Perform data mining with state-of-the-art methods.
  • Enhance data collection procedures to include relevant information for analytics.
  • Process, cleanse, and verify data integrity for analysis.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and present findings clearly.
  • Create automated anomaly detection systems and monitor their performance.
  • Utilize database technologies (SQL, ETL, EMR, Redshift) and statistical modeling tools (R, Python) for building customer models.
  • Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, validation, and deployment.
  • Research and implement novel machine learning and statistical approaches.
    • Qualifications
    • Strong understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
    • Experience with data science toolkits and data visualization tools.
    • Proficiency in SQL, Hive, Pig, and similar query languages.
    • Good statistical skills, including distributions, testing, and regression analysis.
    • Scripting and programming skills in Python.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields; Master's degree preferred.
    • Relevant experience in data extraction, analysis, modeling, deployment, and insights communication.
    • Excellent quantitative and statistical analysis skills with problem-solving capabilities.
