About The Job

Our client is a global technology company leading the charge in responsible marketing across social and video platforms. By leveraging cutting-edge AI, they empower brands to control content placement in closed digital environments, ensuring both performance and safety. With an international footprint and a fast-paced culture of innovation, they are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their machine learning team. This role will focus on building and deploying advanced computer vision models to analyze vast volumes of video content from major platforms.

What You Will Be Doing

• Build and optimize computer vision classifiers to interpret high-volume video content
• Work with large-scale datasets from top social media and video platforms
• Develop AI pipelines that incorporate transformer models, LLMs, and RAG systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, test, and deploy ML models in production
• Contribute to model training, evaluation, and monitoring within a modern MLOps environment
• Write clean, scalable code and follow best practices in version control, testing, and documentation
• Stay current with research advancements and apply relevant findings to production systems

What You Will Need

• 3+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning models, especially in computer vision
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Hands-on experience training models from scratch and with pre-trained transformer architectures
• Proficiency in Python and SQL (experience with Snowflake is a plus)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of ML pipelines, data structures, and system design
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Exposure to LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, or other multi-modal AI systems
• Experience with modern vector databases, inference optimization (e.g., TensorRT, ONNX), or GPU-accelerated ML
• Familiarity with tools like Hugging Face, Weights & Biases, Triton Inference Server
• Experience working with video or unstructured media data at scale
