Senior Data Engineer - Havas Media Network : Job Details

Working within a close network of engineers and traders, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering data management solutions at scale to provide best-in-class analytics products – both to our clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with key internal stakeholders to diagnose and systematically integrate client-specific data requirements, providing technical consultation for data products both internally and to client teams.
• Leverage MPP platforms to provide data processing solutions at scale.
• Proactively seek opportunities to enhance our existing architecture, providing clients with a more reliable data product while reducing our team's technical debt.
• Partner with internal teams to evolve our data platform using a modern data engineering stack, including data warehousing, workflow platforms, and data validation products.
• Provide quality assurance for data throughout the ETL cycle.
• Coordinating and executing maintenance updates to production deliverables.
• Keeping abreast of industry developments, learning new technology platforms to augment new and existing projects.
• Contribute to the company's knowledge base by creating and sharing case studies, POVs, and training/conference summaries.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (such as Engineering, Science, or Mathematics) or relevant work experience
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and relational database systems
• Experience building multi-tier ETL solutions through data transformation tools such as Dataform or DBT
• Experience using Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and/or other cloud service infrastructure.
• Experience with Python or other OOP programming languages is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, LookerStudio, or other data visualization tools is a huge plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage project timelines. Experience with project/ticket management systems such as Jira or ClickUp is preferred.
