Senior Cybersecurity Specialist (Advisory)

📍 Location: St. Paul, MN (Onsite)

💼 6 Months + Possible Extension/ FTE

We're seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to advise product teams on embedding security throughout the development and operational lifecycle of mobile-enabled and cloud-based products. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical expertise, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct threat modeling (STRIDE, PASTA) during product development.
• Advise on cybersecurity risks for cloud and mobile applications.
• Ensure alignment with industry cybersecurity standards and CI/CD frameworks.
• Analyze security testing results and guide vulnerability remediation.
• Communicate security concerns to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in cybersecurity advisory or product engineering with a security focus.
• Experience with cloud-native and/or mobile application security design.
• Strong grasp of information security principles and defense-in-depth strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• Medical device cybersecurity knowledge is a plus.
