In this position, you will design innovative and attractive mobility solutions for sustainable mobility users worldwide.In this position you will:Ensure proposed design solutions embody Alstom's DNA and Perceived Quality values.Communicate design proposals and solutions effectively using techniques such as sketches, renderings, Alias Models, and specification documents.Work as part of a multi-functional engineering team.Collaborate with external partners.Support the implementation and continuous improvement of A&CD processes.Successfully complete bid and delivery projects through timely completion of deliverables.Stay informed of technological developments to enhance Alstom's mobility solutions.Define design tasks for operational teams (internal or external).Coordinate with the Workload Manager for staffing the design teams according to requirements.Follow up on design projects respecting objectives related to specifications, deadlines, and costs.Participate in internal validation processes for tender or project design reviews with customers and management.Ensure the quality of internal and external design production in line with project needs and standards.Research cultural trends and long-term tendencies relevant to C&T.Manage suppliers responsible for producing primary samples.Archive completed projects and materials for future use.As our ideal candidate:You hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design.You have over 10 years of experience in a multifunctional engineering environment delivering complex technical solutions.You have over 5 years of experience in rolling stock design.You have experience with software such as Alias, VRED, Photoshop, or Illustrator.You have contributed product design thinking and skills to engineering teams.You are capable of solving complex problems and presenting innovative solutions.You possess a solid understanding of design processes.You can communicate design proposals effectively through various mediums and techniques.You have excellent French and English communication skills, both written and spoken.You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
