Senior Corporate Accountant - Remote Opportunity! - KinderCare Education LLC : Job Details

Prepare and maintain lease accounting schedules. Evaluate and test lease classification. Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations for leases under ASC 842 Collaborate with Real Estate and other internal teams to ensure the lease population is properly captured and accounted for. Address external audit requests and support internal controls. Assist with the preparation of the quarterly impairment analysis (ASC 360)Support continuous improvement of lease accounting processes. Participate in special projects related to lease accounting. Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field 5 years related experience required with 2 years in public accounting preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls. Hands on experience with ASC 842 Advanced Excel skills required.
