• Own journal entries and monthly/quarterly close processes using our cloud-based general ledger system.
• Research and resolve accounting issues in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP).
• Prepare reconciliations for key accounts including cash, investments, and tax balances.
• Conduct analytical reviews and validate financial data from global business units.
• Assist in preparing regulatory financial statements and filings.
• Support internal and external audits with timely and organized documentation.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives within the broader finance organization.
• Become a go-to expert on our financial systems and tools.

• 25 years of accounting experience, ideally with a Big 4 public accounting background.
• Strong command of accounting principles and statutory reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Workday ERP, journal entries, and SOX controls.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data sorting).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Bonus: Experience in insurance or reinsurance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
